The morning started with manual labor – a trip to the u-pick berry farm.  Berries are a couple of weeks late this year so blueberries weren’t on yet, but we did have fun with strawberries and raspberries.

In the afternoon the kids celebrated the 100 degree weather by taking to the kiddie pool that Brian had so graciously set up. (That’s the story.  We know, however, that his real purpose was to get the lawn watered.  The boys – especially Jesse and Spencer were happy to oblige.)
