Day 12 – 9/15 – Homeward Bound

It’s 9:10 (Toronto time).  We’re sitting in the Toronto airport waiting to board our flight to Vancouver.

Not sure why all my “airport pics” are in the Toronto airport. The couple on the left is Scott and Diane Robertson from Meridian. They were the third couple from the Treasure Valley on this trip. Nice couple and great to get to know.

That should tell you something of how our day has gone.

It started well enough – breakfast and good by’s with friends from the tour, then back to the room to post pictures from day 10 and 11, The van arrived to take us to the airport at 10:00 and we arrived in plenty of time for our 12:30 departure (Halifax to Toronto to Salt Lake City to Boise)

They had fog on the coast. So the plane to St. Johns couldn’t get to us. So the wizards at WestJet used our plane to send a tour group to St. Johns while we waited for it to come back.

Having been delayed for 3 hours we missed our connection in Toronto (by 15 minutes).  That’s why we are heading to Vancouver tonight.  Tomorrow we clear customs (again) and layover in Seattle before arriving in Boise some time after noon.
