Up early, Breakfast on the road, Heading to the Kilpatrick reunion in Reading Pennsylvania. Today we traveled from Rugby North Dakota to Ashland Wisconsin. There’s not much to see except green: green fields, green forests… and water. Lots and lots of lakes. We looked at the green and the lakes, marveled at how flat the land is, (You can see forests that are miles away.), speculated on how glaciers
I was born there, in Bottineau. We moved to Idaho when I was 3 and we only returned once to visit. I was in Jr. High. So we thought it would be fun to include a “swing by” on our way east. I have to tell you, Bottineau gives all indications of being quite prosperous.
Leaving Missoula we discovered that our hotel was right across the street from “beer Mecca”. Next time we do this route we’ll plan an extra day in Missoula.
