Slept in a bit this morning from our normal “road trip time.” The alarm went off at 4:30 but (as normal) we were already awake. Sigh.

We dressed and such and followed our lists, checking the last box at 5:00 in time for Cheryl to wander out front to flag down the Uber who couldn’t seem to find our house number.

Anyway we were off to the airport, thru security, and at the gate in time for a bit of reading.
On board we were on our way to Denver where we hit the Lounge for breakfast and a bit more reading until time to board for Toronto.

Arrival was a bit early. Clearing customs was not too arduous. We grabbed a cab and were on our way to the hotel.

We checked in, found our room and called cousin Rich. He, Ginta, and Greta had driven in earlier today and we joined them for dinner at an amazing Japanese restaurant not too far from the hotel.

We had a good time, lots of catching up, great food. Then we retreated to the hotel to do a bit of exploring its nooks and crannies.
Along the way we ran into Joe, Chris, and Brian Peluso.
A bit more exploring and then it was off to sleep off the effects of our early morning.

This is gonna be a fun weekend!
