OK, who are we kidding.
We’ve been working on Cruise Prep since the Hunts floated the idea over a year ago.
Things have gotten quite a bit more serious in the past couple of months as we’ve been more active in planning, watching YouTubes, Reading guidebooks and such.
But in the past week things have gotten real.
So it was that today I:
- Shopped for wallet tracker cards
- Bought a new version of the ultimate final water bottle
- Published my walking tour of interesting churches in Rome (generally small parish churches with great art)
- Tried to update the registration on Sparky (Cheryl’s car) – it expires Wednesday (oops!).
- Bought time on my eSIM
- Set up the blog for this trip
- Updated the QR Code for this trip
- Helped with the laundry so I can pack (Cheryl has been packed for 2 weeks)
- Began packing
- Looked up luggage size stats for our next trip (because life isn’t fun unless you are constantly confused about which trip is which).

So that’s what’s happening here.
Tomorrow is the final day of prep.
We fly out of Boise at 8:42, Layover in Seatle 4+ hours, and land in Rome Thursday morning at 10:10 (their time) (GLW/CDR).
So it begins.
See you tomorrow.
