Kilpatrick 25: Toronto – Day 4 – 7/5/25 – Treck to the Falls

Up and at ’em!
After a brief visit to Tim Hortans across the street,

Remember this shot from yesterday?

We joined the Hunts for an Uber ride to Union Station,

Where we caught the train to Niagara Falls (Canada).

The views from the Canadian side are truly spectacular!

We stopped for lunch near the train station before taking the bus to meet 350,000 of our closest friends at the falls proper.

We got in line to board the sightseeing boat and were found by the Andersons who joined us to get wet.

Arriving back at the dock, soaked but energized, we sought out some ice cream.

We also ran into Rich, Ginta, and Greta.

As we were chatting we got the word that everybody and their grandmother were trying to get back to the train so we took our leave and headed out to catch the bus. While we were waiting we got a text from Brad that the busses would likely not have any room, so it was into an Uber for a quick and painless trip to the station.

Back on the train we read and napped and decided on dinner plans.

Arriving at Union Station we stayed undergound and walked (about 1/4 mile) to the subway.
We rode the subway 2 stops to Dundas Street (a station where yesterday we had visited, a couple of times; gotten lost in, a couple of times; and successfully navigated) and into the adjacent mall where the food court was expansive (It’s where we had breakfast yesterday).
We found a table, then split up to seek out our personal favorites.

It was a great meal, and a fitting end to a less-structured, more interactive reunion.
So sorry for the poor guy trying to plan the next one.

Then it was back to the room to pack.
Tomorrow begins the afterparty!

Till then…
