We finally rolled over this morning at 8:45. It’s really strange to sleep that late. We were down to breakfast by 9:30 where we met several of the relatives on the patio.

We ate and sat around talking until it was time for Ralph and Anjar to return his rental car and Cheryl and me to run an errand.
By the time we got back it was time to rally the troops to find some lunch. Brian Peluso had found an interesting (and highly regarded) Thai restaurant a few blocks away so 8 of us gave it a try. I’ll say that interesting was an accurate description.
On the way back we stopped by a marzipan shop to sample their wares, or try their gelato as the case may be.
Then it was back to the room to rest a bit before heading out to the baseball game.

And were ushered in by our guide and master Jennifer.

We had a great time watching the game and chatting with various relatives.

It was a long game and eventually people began to drift away – to sleep, perhaps to dream…
We volunteered to escort Renner back to the hotel to hang with us until his parents and brother returned.

It was a lot of fun. Toronto won – much to the joy of most of us who had become honorary Bluejay fans.
And after we left we learned that our section was flashed on the jumbotron – likely thanks to Asher’s continual dancing.
So that’s day 2.
Tomorrow is more fun.
Till then…
